REVERSE ADVENT CALENDAR
Instead of our ever popular Christmas Reverse Advent Calendar, where you put a tin of food into an empty cardboard box during the 24 days leading up to Christmas, against a shopping list we publish, we are asking those who wish to donate at Christmas to fill a jar with a coin a day – whether it be 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 or £2 or a combination of all or some – then after 24 days either make a donation through:
Just Giving http://justgiving.com/bridgendfoodbank or drop it into 79A Nolton Street, Bridgend, CF31 3AA for banking.
This is because we recognise that some organisations who wish to contribute to the Foodbank over Christmas may find the logistics of making a donation of groceries quite difficult in the current situation and prefer to make a financial contribution.
We can confirm that this will be welcome, not least because in the next few months we anticipate demand increasing again, and it will help us make targeted purchases when needed.
